TAMA began manufacturing drums in 1965 under the name “Star Drums”, and Star continues to be used in the names of TAMA’s drum models to this day. TAMA was one of the first manufacturers to offer super heavy-duty hardware and drum mounting systems that did not intrude into the shell. The TAMA HH55F Classic series hi-hat stand gives you traditional feel, snappy response, and performance-ready stability. It features a flat base construction inspired by vintage cymbal stands of the 60’s and is light and folds up neatly for easy transportation. It also features 5-way tension adjustment to give you the precise feel and response you want.
